The Guiding Teacher for Dae Do Sah is Zen Master Dae Gak of
Furnace Mountain. We are a small and somewhat
informal group, and we have been in existence since the fall of 1998.
Zen Master Dae Gak, is a an American who has studied Zen in both the Japanese and Korean traditions.
In 1994 he received Transmission from the Korean Zen Master
Seung Sahn. He is a clinical psychologist and
the author of "
Going Beyond Buddha" and "Upright with Poise and Grace: Coming Forward As You Are". He is the guiding teacher for several groups in the United States,
and has also led retreats in Europe, Australia, and Korea.
