Wild Women Workshop: Six Saturdays starting January 19, 2008
Deep inside you is a woman who longs to be free, wild, creative, imaginative and appreciated for those qualities. You may be old and have lived your life for everyone else, or you may be young and want to avoid “captivity.” Whatever stage of life you are in, it is never too late to tap into the animal, untamed part of yourself.
Women are very special creatures. Regardless of age, marital status, orientation, race, religious upbringing we have many things in common and we can learn, grow and support each other in ways that our brothers cannot comprehend.
Using the work of Clarissa Pinkola Estes from her most loved book Women who run with the Wolves, we will explore our wild side, connect with our intuition and embrace our natural rhythms. We will do this by Shamanic Journeys, song, dance, artwork and ceremony.
If you are a woman and you are longing to be heard, understood, loved and fulfilled then this workshop is for you. Walk the ancient path of womanhood from the cultures and traditions of the wise, and discover your own power and wisdom.
This class will meet every third Saturday of the month from January through June 2008.
Cost: $80 per class.

Four Hour Introductory Course
In this course you will learn some of the history of Shamanism, how traditional Shamanism views illness, and how they address it. You will have the opportunity to experience several Shamanic Journeys, and find out if there are any other courses that would fit you.
The cost for this course is $40.
Currently scheduled dates:
October 13 and November 10.
All are on Saturdays from Noon - 4pm.
Shamanic Conflict Resolution
This workshop is open to anyone with experience in Shamanic Journeying. Shamanic conflict resolution is a method for shifting the energy of a conflict on the level of the spiritual - the "non-ordinary reality" that Shamanic practitioners learn to work with. The results are very powerful and amazing as the ripples from this shift begin to manifest in the physical realm ("ordinary" reality).
The cost for this workshop is $300 - which includes room and board. It will be a residential ("sleep-over") workshop held at Claymont Court in West Virginia. Claymont is in the mountains and the grounds are very beautiful. The mansion belonged to George Washington's nephew and was bought in the 1970's by the current community who are really wonderful people. We will be staying the old barn which has been converted into dorms, with a fairly large meeting room.
No Conflict Resolution workshops are currently scheduled.
Soul Healing Weekend
Traditional Shamanism teaches that when we have trauma in our life part of our essense leaves to escape the full impact of the trauma. This is called Soul Loss. In this two day class each participant will receive a Soul Retrieval which is a very healing experience. Subsequent work will be integrating the retrieved parts and identifying habits and behaviors that resulted from the loss.
February 2 - 3, 2008.
