Our capacity to house retreatants is limited.
If you want a space at your desired retreat, please request a registration form and register in advance.
Please make use of our new early-bird-rates. The number of people wanting to attend our retreats is steadily growing and we have started to use waiting-lists. The earlier you apply the higher are your chances to actually get a space at your desired retreat.

Your completed registration form, plus retreat fee should be returned to Furnace Mountain by the due date stated on the form.
You will receive additional information after we have received your registration.

For retreats with ZM Dae Gak not held at FM please use the indicated email-address to register directly with the hosting Zen Center.

All FM meditation retreats start at 7:30 PM on the first day and end at noon on the last day.
Day-long retreats start at 10:00am and end at 5:00pm.

 

Retreat Fees:
Retreat fees cover room and board. We serve 3 vegetarian and organic meals prepared freshly every day. Dana for the Zen Teachers and Tenzo's are not included in the fees. It is tradition to give Dana at the end of retreat as a sign of gratitude for receiving the dharma and being taken care of. Please give generously and according to your means, as neither the Zen Master nor the resident teachers and tenzo's get any compensation for their efforts. We offer two different kind of fees: Early Bird Rate: We have received your registration and check with full payment a month ahead of the retreat you wish to attend. Regular Rate: For all registrations and full payment received within a month before the retreat you wish to attend. A number of partial scholarships are available. Please apply early.

Outside of retreats the hermitage can be rented for highly secluded solo retreats. Please apply here. Costs for a solo retreat at the hermitage are $55/day. You need to provide and cook your own food.
Also, outside of retreats space at the lodge can be rented for private retreats. Please apply here. Costs are $70/day/person. You need to provide and cook your own food.
